POP Arts raises funds and provides volunteers to support the performing arts at Olentangy Orange High, Orange Middle and Berkshire Middle, and all Olentangy elementary schools. The Performing Arts include: Band, Orchestra, Choir, and Theatre.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Learn how you can get involved

POP Arts  is the booster organization that provides 75% of the funding for the performing arts at Olentangy Orange and Berkshire schools.  This year we have several fundraisers planned to finance music education.

How can I volunteer?

The story of the truck...

POP Arts
began in July of 2009. As the election to separate from Olentangy Music Boosters, the new Board of Directors were told they had a major first task...Orange High School needed a large truck to carry the instruments, costumes, uniforms and scenery for the performing arts groups.

This was no small task. POP Arts had no money and the truck was assumed to be approximately $20,000. OOHS needed to:
 find a truck
 seek district approval
 acquire the truck

Parents stepped up and we located and purchased a truck only days before the start of school.

But, the truck was bright yellow and that just would not do for OOHS. Within days, the truck was painted orange and now you can spot it easily has it travels down the road.

2009 – 2010 fundraising efforts resulted in the needed funds for the truck which will last for many years in support of the performing arts groups.

Thanks to all who made this happen!
